The design diagrams

BEFORE

CREATE

You should included as many interface designs as you can, but as long as there are sufficient designs to illustrate thorough skill in the task, you might be better using time to focus on other documentation aspects.

I think a good strategy might be to:

  • get designs competed for the principal menu option pages first.
  • move on to other design documentation aspects.
  • go back and create more UI design sketches if you have enough time.

The designs do not need to be complicated in terms of content or complexity. Remember their purpose: to instruct developers on the placement of components that will be shown to the user when they use the site.

The evidence will be a set of images. They should each fill a page of the documentation. Because we are designing for Desktop PCs. they should be in landscape orientation.

Here's an example screen/page design created in app.diagrams.net:

UI DESIGN

This is very simplisitic but it should help you understand the nature of what you should make.
