Algorithm Visuals¶

We covered the use of algorithm design in Year 1 of the course. WE should do the same for our design documentation for the project tasks in Year 2, the Occupational Specialism.
In activity B, you are required to demonstrate algorithm design in the portfolio of evidence to be submitted for marking. Your project will contain many blocks of code, modules, class implementations. Luckily, the evidence requirements will be satisfied if you provide 5 algorithm designs.
You can use this system to your advantage. You might feel that you are better at writing pseudocode than creating flowcharts, or vice-versa. As long as the examiner sees evidence of both, you will receive credit for making them, regardless of the proportion of the mix of types.
To help you recall the sources we used last year, the Task 3 Briefing Guide from the Set Project is attached here.
